| Hi Nico,
Ik kan me voorstellen dat je het blauw niet zo natuurlijk vind voor Nederland. Het was echter de echte kleur op die dag. Vlakke zee en blauwe lucht. Ik had het nog nooit zo gezien.

Gert, ik heb a few days at the beach bekeken en vind de foto's erg mooi! Ik zou graag ook zulke rechte horizonnen hebben. Alleen lijkt me de zee soms wat onwaarachtig blauw. Nico |

However, you gave me the idea that you would very much appreciate to get a more public reaction on your work through your website. I therefore use this opportunity to bring my commentary accross as clear as possible, based on your most recent shots taken in Zeeland.
It occurs to me that your pictures are of an increasing artistic beauty. Of course, nature is beauty in itself but one must first be able to recognise this beauty with one’s head and then capture and shape it with one’s lense, in which you become more and more successful as it seems to me, Gert.
Michelangelo once said: “The beauty of my work is essentially present in the piece of marble under my hands, the only thing for me to do is to remove the superfluous parts!”
